Honea Path... Spring and Summer Music on the Plaza is back. The Merchants Association will be hosting a community wide Jam session beginning May 20th at 6:30 p.m. until... ?

Main Street will be blocked off to traffic so that musicians and those who wish to share their talent can gather to play. "The Kitchen" and "The Little Town Coffee House and Bakery" will be open for food and drinks, along with some stores open for business. 

 

Events:

 

June 17th 6:30 p.m. til - Elivs Presley (Rick Wade) Rick's Shows encompass all the elements of the king himself with mannerisms and moves as only Elvis could, so close to the king, you'll find yourself doing a double take.

 

 

July  15th  6:30 pm - "Jazz Affect" Come and enjoy the ultimate Musical Experience presented by "Jazz Affect", an ultra versatile contemporary Jazz and R&B band.

 

Based in South Carolina, the band fuses Jazz and Blues with R&B and Pop to create a sound that uniquely brings a blast of high energy to the stage while simultaneously softening the atmosphere. A perfect synergy of silky smooth vocal tones with seasoned musicians.

The Members of Jazz Affect have worked with some of the greatest acts in musical history including Parliament and B.B. King.

 

July 22nd 6:30 p.m. til - Battle of the Bands Exploring the local talent. Many groups perform in their garages and homes locally. Those interested in joining the fun are encouraged to sign up and express their best.

August 19th - 7:00 - til Honea Path Idol The second annual HP Idol will be held on the Plaza. Prizes will be awarded.

September 23rd Picnic on Main Street with Karaoke. More info to follow...

 

October 2nd at 9:am Alzheimer Benefit Carnival at 800 Hamby Road (next to BHP High School)

October 22nd and 23rd - Sugarfoot Festival

Bring your own music or instruments and plan on having a great time.
